Another leg of “The Amazing Race” 2025 is tonight, as the teams will be making their way to Budapest, Hungary tonight on CBS. Host Phil Keoghan will guide the 10 remaining teams through Europe as they try their best to be named the winner of “The Amazing Race” season 38. Who gets eliminated on “The Amazing Race” tonight? ‘What Would Houdini Do?’
The teams will be heading to Budapest tonight on “The Amazing Race” season 38. It looks like the teams will be working with a Rubik’s Cube, which may put one of the teams to the test. Then, a horse-drawn carriage leaves all the teams racing against the clock.

Traveling to Budapest
The teams will all be traveling by overnight train to Budapest, Hungary. They all head to the train stations to get their tickets. There were two options available: a fast train with connecting trains getting there at 7:28 am, or a direct train arriving at 8:30 a.m. Here are the teams and their expected arrivals:
- 7:28 a.m. Arrival – Jas & Jag, Natalie & Stephanie, Tucker & Eric, Joseph & Adam, Hannah & Simone, and Izzy & Paige
- 8:30 a.m. Arrival – Kyland & Taylor, Jack & Chelsie, Kat & Alex, and Kristine & Rubina
While the first teams will be arriving an hour earlier, they won’t be getting much sleep because of the connecting trains. Was it smart to do the faster train just for an hour advantage if they are dead tired?
The Fun Begins on ‘The Amazing Race’ Season 38
The first set of teams arrives in Budapest on time and finds the first clue. The teams will be heading to a thermal bath, and they must search for a king.
In the thermal bath, there are people playing chess, which is the king. They get a chess piece from the king, which has them traveling to another spot for the next clue. Meanwhile, the second set of teams has now arrived in Budapest.
Fast Forward
At the next clue, there is an option to do the Fast Forward. For this challenge, they have to both complete a Rubik’s Cube in under 7.5 seconds on the same attempt. If they can do it, they skip every challenge today and can head to the Pit Stop. If they don’t want to try it, they can just keep moving on to the next spot on this leg.
Tucker & Eric attempt the Fast Forward, but the other teams are not even trying.
The taxis aren’t picking up Jas & Jag, as all teams have struggled to get a taxi. However, Natalie & Stephanie, Joseph & Adam, Hannah & Simone, and Izzy & Paige all got a taxi and are heading to the next clue.
Tucker & Eric keep trying the Fast Forward, and they finally got it right. They will now head to the Pit Stop for this leg of the race! Jas & Jag finally get a taxi.
Road Block
The next clue is a Road Block, which has the players guiding some horses through a figure-eight course. They can’t hit any cones along the course and must complete it within 45 seconds.
Natalie is up first, as Joseph & Adam are lost and can’t find the clue. It took Natalie two attempts, but she completed the course. They will head to the House of Houdini and have to figure out how to unlock a chain box to get the next clue.
The other teams are working on the Road Block, as Natalie & Stephanie unlock the box and get the next clue, which is a Detour. The teams will either have to juggle five rings or balance a bottle on their head while performing with a dance group.
Detour on ‘The Amazing Race’ 2025
Natalie & Stephanie are working on the dance routine and learning it.
Back at the Road Block, Izzy completes the course on the fifth attempt. They move on to the next spot. Kyland & Taylor are lost and can’t find the clue box. They finally find the clue box, and Kyland will be doing the Road Block as he gets instructions.
Jag completes the Road Block. Natalie & Stephanie are struggling with learning the dance. Jas & Jag are struggling with taxis because they wear turbans, so they are taking the train instead. Izzy & Paige will attempt the dance too.
Kyland & Taylor have caught up, as other teams are still at the Road Block, and he makes it through on his first attempt, but he was too slow.
Natalie & Stephanie get the dance right, and they get the next clue, which has them heading to the Pit Stop. Jas & Jag get to the Detour, and will be dancing also.
Joseph gets through the course on his fifth attempt. Kyland gets it completed on his second attempt, so they went from last to sixth that quickly.
Joseph & Adam break one of the locks at House of Houdini, so they have to wait for it to be fixed. Kyland & Taylor get the box unlocked, and they’ll be doing the juggling Detour.
Jack gets the Road Block done on his fourth attempt, and they move on. Alex gets it done also, and then Simone finally gets it, and Kristine gets it also, and all the teams have completed the Road Block.
Juggling & Dancing
We have Kyland & Taylor and Joseph & Adam both working on the juggling Detour. They have to juggle five rings for a total of 10 seconds. Kyland & Taylor were picking it up quickly, but Joseph & Adam were struggling.
Hannah & Simone are in last place, but they are both trained dancers and choose the dancing Detour and feel they can make up ground with this one. Izzy & Paige do amazing, and they are moving on to the Pit Stop.
Jas & Jag get the dance on the sixth attempt, so they are heading to the Pit Stop. Kat & Alex are struggling with the dance.
It took Kyland & Taylor three attempts, but they got the juggling complete and are now headed to the Pit Stop. After one attempt, Kat & Alex are struggling, and Kat thinks they should switch, but Alex says to keep trying.
Hannah & Simone get the dance on their first attempt, so they are moving to the Pit Stop. Joseph & Adam have made 68 attempts to get the juggling, and still can’t do it! It took them 134 attempts, but they finally got it and are now headed to the Pit Stop!
Kristine & Rubina get the dance routine on their third attempt, so they are moving on to the Pit Stop. Kat is having a breakdown at the Detour. Jack & Chelsie have completed the dance, so they are moving on to the Pit Stop.
Kat & Alex get the dance completed, so it seems to have come down to Jack & Chelsie and Kat & Alex to get to the Pit Stop first.
