Captain Sandy Yawn Names the ‘Real Housewives’ Franchise She Wants for a Bravo Crossover

During season 6 of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” the ladies went on a yacht excursion with the “Below Deck Down Under” cast, marking the first-ever crossover.

Hopefully, that won’t be the last, and Captain Sandy Yawn of “Below Deck Mediterranean” shared on “Gabbing with Gib” on January 6, 2026, that she’d love to do one as well.

When asked which franchise Yawn would like to host on a luxury motor yacht, she said, “I like Orange County. I would love to have some Housewives.”

Yawn added that she’d be open to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as well, but nixed “RHOSLC” as the crossover had already been done.

“The Real Housewives of New York City” was also on the list, but Yawn said, “My first pick would be California. It would be the West Coast.”

The ‘RHOSLC’ & ‘BDDU’ Crossover Was Filled with Drama

The “RHOSLC” crossover started off friendly enough, with all the women playfully dumping water on Britani Bateman every time she mentioned her on-again-off-again relationship with Jared Osmond.

However, after Bronwyn Newport arrived, her fraud allegations came up, which she defended by hinting that someone in the group put them out there.

Add a seasick Angie Katsenevas, and the charter was already making the “BDDU” crew really earn their tips.

Meredith Marks got upset at Bateman when she learned that her castmate accused her of having “seizures” every time she got upset, which resulted in her throwing water at the former Broadway star for real.

Bateman attempted to toss her wine in retaliation, but Marks showed off some impressive ninja skills and diverted the glass.

Unfortunately, their feud allegedly carried over into the flight, with the cast reporting that the plane ride home was fraught with tension.

Captain Jason Chambers Got High Marks From the ‘RHOSLC’ Cast

Despite all the drama, Marks told Us Weekly in August 2025, “It was fun. It was a little bit different for us because it was different from what we are used to.”

Referring to being filmed in her bedroom, Marks shared, “It is a very different animal. I can’t say I love that part of it. But it was a fabulous trip, and the whole crossover thing was cool to do.”

Barlow praised Captain Jason Chambers by saying, “It was a big boat. Captain Jason works extremely hard. I think he just ran and ran and ran.”

The two also gave “Below Deck” alum Chef Ben Robinson props for his food. “My food preference sheet, I went kind of light on, but there were specifics that I had to have, and they met every need and every wish,” Barlow told the publication.
