We made it to the Top 5 on “MasterChef: Global Gauntlet,” with the remaining home cooks representing the four territories (Asia-Pacific, Africa, Europe, and Americas) this season. The fight to be named the winner of “MasterChef” Season 16 continued tonight.
Last week, the home cooks teamed up for a Restaurant Takeover. While Dave has excelled this season, he somehow seemed to drop the ball during this challenge. He never seemed to get it together, and when the Red Team lost the challenge, he was sent home. Which home cook will be eliminated tonight on “MasterChef” Season 16? September 2 Live Results – Week 16

It’s Semifinal Night! The judges are in the kitchen, and here comes the Top 5. We have two cooks from Africa, two cooks from Europe, and one cook from the Americas left. They will be fighting for a spot in the finale tonight, with a double elimination taking place. We will provide updates as tonight’s episode airs, so keep refreshing this page for the latest results!
8:09 p.m. – For tonight’s challenge, the home cooks will be keeping up with both Chef Ramsay and Chef Tiffany. First, they will have to follow Tiffany. The worst chef during that will immediately be eliminated. The remaining four chefs will then try to keep up with Chef Ramsay, with one more home cook being eliminated. Since Jake was the winning captain last week, he got to skip keeping up with Tiffany and move right into the second round. For the first round, they will be cooking a pan-roasted halibut with Tiffany. She is the clock. Once she’s done, the home cooks have 30 seconds to finish their plating.
8:18 p.m. – Tiffany isn’t messing around. Heidi was keeping up very well. Basia was struggling. Julia had some messups at the end, but time is up, and tasting is coming soon.
Results on ‘MasterChef’ 2026
FOX8:30 p.m. – The judges taste all of the dishes. Heidi was closest to replicating Tiffany’s dish. Julia and Basia both had mistakes, but Basia undercooked the fish. Because of that, she has been eliminated from “MasterChef” 2026.
Second Round – Keeping Up With Gordon
8:41 p.m. – Now the Top 4 will have to replicate a herb-crusted rack of lamb dish with Gordon Ramsay. Once Chef Ramsay is done plating, they will have 15 seconds to finish their plates. The home cooks are keeping up, with Julia falling a little behind. Jake is struggling with the cook of his lamb.
8:51 p.m. – The home cooks struggled on this one, as Gordon finished and they only had 15 seconds to finish theirs. It was a rush for them all. The judges are currently making their way through all of the dishes.

FOX9:00 p.m. – The chefs have now tasted all of the dishes. Each of the home cooks had positives and negatives with their dish. The judges discuss, and Julia was eliminated from “MasterChef” 2026. That means the finalists are Jake, Heidi, and Peter.
