Hallmark fans are more than a little familiar with Andrew Walker thanks to the fact that he’s appeared in plenty of the channel’s beloved romantic movies. However, are you also familiar with his earlier career in Hollywood?
Before he popped up in stories like “Adventures in Love & Birding” and “Kentucky Roses,” not to mention the “Curious Caterer Mysteries,” he was a young actor making his name in show business.
At the time, Walker also appeared at industry events, like one particular premiere 25 years ago that saw the future star appear on the red carpet looking just as adorable as he is today!
Andrew Had a Very Early 2000s-Worthy Look
When it comes to Walker’s start in the business, his earliest onscreen credit is his 1994 part in “Sirens,” according to IMDb. That was followed by “Ready or Not” in 1995, “NYPD Blue” in 1996 and 1997’s “Laserhawk,” among other gigs, including popping up on “V.I.P” starring Pamela Anderson in 1998. It was just a few years later that he showed up for the red carpet appearance seen above.
On August 15, 2001, Walker was a guest at the premiere of “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” which took place at the Mann Bruin Theater in Los Angeles. Wearing a white button-up shirt with a palm tree pattern and dark blue pants, he also opted for a fashionable-at-the-time shell bead necklace.
Looking fresh-faced and happy to be at the event, he was definitely flashing the same smile that still charms fans today.

Of course, Walker wasn’t the only famous figure to attend the premiere of “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back” in 2001. The event saw both stars from the movie and other celebrities show up too walk the red carpet and see the film.
For instance, Jason Mewes (who plays Jay) and Kevin Smith (a.k.a. Silent Bob) were obviously in attendance. While Smith appeared in his signature laid-back look, Mewes wore a full-length fluffy purple and white coat.
Jason Lee, who also appeared in the movie (as well as multiple other films made by Smith), posed along with the starring duo while at the premiere.
Alanis Morissette, who had an epic role in the film, smiled while walking the red carpet at the premiere event.
Ashton Kutcher attended the premiere with his girlfriend at the time, actress Ashley Scott.
Joey Lauren Adams was also seen at the premiere after appearing in “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” as well as being a part of Smith’s “Mallrats” (1995) and “Chasing Amy” (1997).
Eddie Cahill was at the premiere, which happened around the time he was appearing as Rachel Green’s assistant-turned-boyfriend Tag Jones on “Friends.”
Shannon Elizabeth had a role as Justice in “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” and she wasn’t the only “American Pie” alum who was both in the movie and showed up for the premiere.
