I love Andrew, but in the photos it is obvious he is uncomfortable, awkward, and unnatural being posed to try to fit him into something he is not feeling. Let him be relaxed and self assured like he is in the candid photos. Paint a verbal image (or script) for him that will bring out the kind of emotions you can capture with your camera. I think he could do it if given a storyline that he can buy into. And for heaven’s sake let his emotions show in his eyes. In almost every picture that was posted he looks too stoic. His look is frozen, almost like a mannequin or model. Maybe that’s the look you were seeking, but there’s no life in those eyes. He has a great smile. Let him use it. Even strong men smile at times, maybe even a sly, sexy one. James Bond is a good man driven by his goal no matter what he needs to do to get the bad guy. But he uses his wisdom and skills to get the job done. He will do whatever he needs to accomplish that goal. Andrew is naturally a good man. When he looks into the camera, the viewer needs to feel from his gaze (in his eyes, mouth, and posture) what he is feeling. When he looks into a woman’s eyes he needs to do it from his heart so she feels his longing. I’ve seen him do this expressive type of acting to some degree in his last movie about the Kentucky Derby. Playing Bond might be a stretch for him, but I know he can do it. Just give him a chance, a good script, and the right directing.
