“Fixer to Fabulous” star Jenny Marrs was in a nostalgic mood as she reflected on her family’s past travels amid their new chapter.
Jenny Marrs Reminisces on Past Travels
The HGTV star shared a sweet montage video of clips from the family’s international travels over the years as she opened up about feeling nostalgic.
“We just renewed our passports and, as I hold our old ones, now deemed unworthy of use, I’m left feeling nostalgic,” she captioned the post, which she shared via Instagram on Thursday, November 13. “These little blue books have accompanied us on so many incredible adventures.”
She continued, “All the pages filled with foreign stamps, all the airline miles flown (and then redeemed for more flights), all of the friendships made, the laughter shared, the long nights spent lingering around a table, and the memories made. (Even all of the planning and logistics and jet lag and sick kids in foreign countries). All of it. It has all been unequivocally worth it.”
The Marrs family are avid international travelers, recently spending time in the Cotswolds.
Following their dreamy getaway, Jenny took to social media to share sweet moments from their trip.
“I thought I’d share an excerpt from the book and a few photos/videos on this rainy Sunday afternoon. I hope they make you smile and start dreaming of visiting your own ‘bucket list’ destination!” she captioned a series of photos on October 26.
Now, as they start fresh with empty pages in their new passports, Jenny adds, “Feeling grateful and ready to cash in more miles for the next trip so we can start filling these new, blank pages up!”
Jenny Marrs Recently Spoke About Her Unexpected Life
Marrs sat down with podcaster Hannah Love earlier this summer, where she opened up about the wild journey their life has taken.
“If someone had told you five to ten years ago, could you have imagined what your life would be right now?” Love asked the reality star.
“No!” Jenny laughed. “And I actually think that’s a good thing. Dave and I were just talking about this yesterday. It’s kind of funny that you asked that. Because we were talking about how, in many things with our life, we haven’t had really these grand plans. It’s more like ‘ok God, how can you use us now?'”
She added, “If God had said, ‘Here’s all the great stuff, here’s all the hard stuff that’s going to happen to you,’ I probably would have said, ‘I’m good, thanks. I just want to stay safe and comfortable.'”
