The global music icon shared a hilarious holiday video of herself dressed as the Grinch, complete with green makeup and a mischievous smirk, bringing smiles to fans around the world.
The playful moment revealed a light-hearted side of the singer that many followers say makes her even more lovable offstage.
In the video shared to Instagram on Wednesday, December 24, Dion dons full Grinch attire — green face paint, tufted headpiece and classic Grinch-style expressions — performing a tongue-in-cheek take on the holiday classic’s signature grouchy persona.
She rounded out the look by wearing a Santa suit with a hat.
The video began with the Grammy winner singing the hit song “All by Myself” as she sat outside by a fireplace.
With an exaggerated pout and exaggerated mannerisms, she embodies the mischievous spirit of Whoville’s most infamous resident, all while playfully leaning into her own sense of humor and seasonal fun.
She was later joined by a cute little dog who sported a tiny antler like the Grinch’s dog Max.
Dion Recreates a Classic Scene
Dion recreated the iconic scene from the 2000 movie “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” where the Grinch is going over his schedule and made it her own.
“The nerve of those Whos. Inviting me on such short notice. Even if I wanted to go, my schedule wouldn’t allow it,” she humoerusly said. “Four o’clock, exercise my voice. 4:30, wake my children up. 5, solve world hunger, tell no one. 5:30, jazzercize. 6:30, dinner with me, I can’t cancel that again! 7, wrestle with my creative ideas. I’m booked!”
Dion added, “Of course if I bumped my creative ideas to 9, I’ll still have time to lay in bed and scroll TikTok videos endlessly. Or, I can just simply wish everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. BORING!”
