Offset Performs On Stage Just 5 Days After Terrifying Shooting: PHOTOS

Offset wasted no time getting back on stage after he was shot in a terrifying incident outside a casino in Florida.

The popular rapper performed at the University of Arkansas’s Rowfest on Saturday, April 11. Photos showed Offset arriving on stage in a wheelchair, but he ultimately stood up and began interacting with the crowd.

“REAL LOVE ❤️,” he captioned his Instagram post from the performance.

The shooting occurred on Monday, April 6, just after 7 p.m. outside Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood. He was rushed to the hospital with “non-life-threatening injuries.” Following the shooting, a representative for the Seminole County Police told TMZ that “two individuals have been detained by police,” and that the “investigation is ongoing.”

ABC News further reported that the shooting occurred in the valet area outside the hotel, with the incident stemming from a fight. Rapper Lil Tjay was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct as well as operating a vehicle without a valid license as a result from the shooting, USA Today added.

Offset took to Instagram shortly after the shooting, providing fans with an update.

“Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love,” he wrote. ”I’m good….but I’m planning to be better! I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music…realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses…. Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win.”

With that, a spokesperson for the rapper told The Hollywood Reporter that he is out of the hospital and was “up and walking.”

“We’re incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses, and the entire hospital staff who took such great care of him,” the spokesperson said.
