Zendaya attended the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards on Thursday. In the event, fellow actress Marsai Martin brought up the topic during her presentation. The ‘Black-ish’ star joked on stage that Zendaya “didn’t play about her personal life,” and asked her to give “a little nod or signal” about when to send a wedding gift.
Did Zendaya Hint at a Secret Marriage During the Awards Event?
According to People Magazine, Zendaya simply moved her hands around her face, subtly showing a gold wedding ring. The actress joined in on the joke as Martin laughed and said she planned to send towels with the monogram “T & Z forever” as a wedding gift.
Speculation about a possible secret wedding between Zendaya and Holland has only grown in recent months. The actress, who also stars in Dune, has been wearing the gold band on her left ring finger several times in public.

Last month, suspicions about a secret wedding intensified. Zendaya was wearing a simple gold band on her left ring finger instead of her sparkling five-carat diamond. Since then, she has continued to wear the ring in public. She was spotted with it at the Paris Fashion Week during the Louis Vuitton show and in a photoshoot with her The Drama co-star Robert Pattinson.
