Brooke Shields is starting her 60th year with a bang!
The actress celebrated her milestone birthday Saturday, May 31 being showered with love.
22-year-old Rowan Henchy put up a series of posts on her Instagram Story.
“Happy birthday to my role model, partner in crime, and best friend. Thank you for always being my rock,” Rowan, 22, captioned a red carpet photo of her with her mom.
In another picture showing her with both mom and 19-year-old sister Grier, Rowan called Shields “everyone’s favorite girl boss,” later writing, “Love you mama,” alongside a summertime photo of the pair.
Rowan also posted a sweet throwback shot of herself as a little girl with her mom, with a white heart drawn on the image.

The former Hallmark actress showed some self-love on Instagram as well, posting photos of herself in a black bikini, writing, “Woke up today in paradise… and in a new decade of life! This is 6️⃣0️⃣! Thank you for all of the birthday love 🩵☀️🎈🏝️”
Famous friends commented on the hot shots, with Sophia Bush writing, “Happy birthday, darling friend! ♥️”

Brooke Shields Plans to Celebrate 60 All Year Long
Brooke Shields has already announced her intentions to celebrate her milestone birthday all year long.
In May, she put up a post showing a series of pictures and videos of herself with newborn lambs in England. The first picture shows the actress with a huge smile on her face as she cuddles a tiny lamb. In the caption, the actress wrote, “Thus begins the big, year-long 60th birthday celebration. My goal: doing things I’ve never done before and have always wanted to do! Most importantly… doing them with friends & people I love. This sounded like the best way to celebrate instead of one big party.
First stop: spending a few days helping bring little lives into the world 🐑👩🌾🌾 Little Lambs – oh how I love you!! Thank you for having me, @chatsworthofficial! 🩵
Not sure what the next stop on the celebration will be… any suggestions? It could be as simple as going to a botanical garden or on a hike in a park upstate.”
Brooke Shields Is Trying to Destigmatize Aging
Shields has become an outspoken proponent of being allowed to age gracefully. She’s even written a book titled, “Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old.”
In an interview with “Good Morning America,” the actress and model talked about growing older. She said the book’s message for women is “that this period of their time over 40 is a wonderful time, and it’s all about you. You’ve earned it, and it’s your turn to feel really, really supported by yourself and good about yourself.”
“Every single woman I know who’s over 40 is absolutely fabulous,” she went on. “They are doing new things and they’re empowered in a way that they weren’t ever before.”
