Pima County Sheriffย Chris Nanos Announces Guthrie Family Cleared As Suspects
In a new statement, Nanos revealed that “the Guthrie family – to include all siblings and spouses – has been cleared as possible suspects in this case.”
“The family has been nothing but cooperative and gracious and are victims in this case,” he continued. “To suggest otherwise is not only wrong, it is cruel. The Guthrie family are victims plain and simple…please, I’m begging you the media to honor your profession and report with some sense of compassion and professionalism.”
This comes after there has been some suspicion surrounding Nancyโs son-in-law Tommaso Cioni, where Nanos, in a recent interview with theย Daily Mail said that ย โnobodyโ has been cleared in the investigation.
If he [Tommaso Cioni] is guilty, if heโs the one who did it, and weโre able to prove that, then at that time jump on it but donโt come out of nowhere with this,” Nanos told the outlet. “I understand the pundits are out there. Theyโre gonna say, well, heโs the last one to see her alive. We understand that stuff. But, my goodness, youโre putting a mark on somebody who could be completely innocent. And more important than that, heโs family.”
