Pete Davidson and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt made their first public appearance together since revealing they’re expecting their first child. The couple attended the Los Angeles premiere of Pete’s new movie “The Pickup” at Regal LA Live on Sunday, July 27. The soon-to-be parents walked the black carpet hand in hand and shared a sweet kiss for the cameras.

The 31-year-old comedian and the 29-year-old model posed together and separately, marking a significant milestone in their blossoming relationship.

In “The Pickup”, Davidson stars alongside Eddie Murphy and Keke Palmer in a high-stakes action comedy about a routine cash run gone wrong. Davidson plays Travis, one of two armored truck drivers ambushed by a crew of savvy criminals, led by Palmer’s character Zoe.

As chaos erupts, Travis and Murphy’s Russell must work together to survive an increasingly dangerous day. The film is set to premiere on August 6 on Prime Video.

Pete Says He’s “Very Lucky” to Be Expecting His First Child

Just days before the “The Pickup” premiere, Pete opened up about fatherhood at the New York premiere of his other film, “The Home,” on July 22. “I’m very lucky and very, very happy,” he told E! News, making his first public comments since Hewitt confirmed her pregnancy on July 16 via Instagram.

Davidson shared how deeply meaningful becoming a parent is to him. “Being able to take care of something and show it the childhood I didn’t have,” he said.

Adam Sandler’s Parenting Tip To Pete Davidson

Pete shared that his close friends, including longtime supporter Adam Sandler, have been incredibly encouraging. “Everybody’s just been super excited for me, because they know it’s been my dream,” he said. “They all just have been like, ‘You’re going to be great at this. It’s the best thing you’ll ever do in your life.’”

He added that Sandler “gave me some great advice,” and said the warm support has meant a lot to him.

Davidson and Hewitt were first linked in March when they were spotted together in Palm Beach, Florida. By May, a source told People the couple had already moved in together.

Then, on July 16, Hewitt confirmed they were expecting their first child, posting a carousel of photos—including a sonogram—with the cheeky caption: “Welp now everyone knows we had sex.”
