“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kathy Hilton shared a surprising detail about the birth of her youngest son more than 30 years ago. The entrepreneur and Bravo TV personality appeared on the Jan. 16, 2026, episode of “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” where she revealed that the show’s iconic letter turner, Vanna White, was by her side while she was in childbirth three decades ago.
“Vanna is a dear friend of mine,” Hilton, 66, said in an Instagram clip from the show. “And in fact, I invited her to be in my birthing room at Cedar Sinai, so she came. And our son Conrad is here today. She was right there. Vanna was front and center.”
Hilton shares children Paris, Nicky, Barron, and Conrad with her husband, businessman Rick Hilton.
Kathy Hilton Said Vanna White Was Nervous About Her Own Childbirth
During her “Wheel of Fortune” appearance, Hilton looked back on her long friendship with White, 68. She shared that her longtime friend was extremely nervous about the impending birth of her own son, so she had her watch a “beautiful” and “tastefully” done birthing tape her husband filmed during her delivery of Paris in 1981.
“I remember when [Vanna] first got pregnant and she was really nervous,” Hilton recalled. “So I had the most beautiful birth tape that Rick had filmed of Paris. And so I said, you’re going to watch it with me. And we watched it — she said, ‘I feel so much better already.’”
Fans had a big reaction to Hilton’s birthing story and the two stars’ sweet friendship.
“Bestie-d so hard Vanna ended up in Kathy’s delivery room,” came the caption on the official “Wheel of Fortune” Instagram page.
“We need a Vanna RHOBH cameo please! Love y’all,” another fan wrote.

Hilton gave birth to Conrad Hughes Hilton III on March 3, 1994. White and her ex-husband, George Santo Pietro, welcomed their son, Nicholas “Nikko” Santo Pietro, on June 10, 1994.
On “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” White clarified that her son’s birth was very “different” from Hilton’s.”You were there, you were all coiffed and beautiful and knocked out your fourth baby like that,” White reminded Hilton. “A month later, I had Nikko – 23 hours of labor and a C-section. It was different than yours!”
In 2024, White celebrated her son’s 30th birthday with a loving Instagram tribute. “30 years ago today, my baby boy was born. Happy birthday @nikkoshow! I am so proud of the amazing young man you have become! I love you with all my heart!” she captioned a photos post.
