Tom Schwartz Weighs In on Lala Kent and Scheana Shay Friendship Situation

Tom Schwartz shared what he knows about Scheana Shay and Lala Kent’s ongoing estrangement.

The Bravo TV personality spoke out about his former “Vanderpump Rules” co-stars during a May 20 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” where he noted that he speaks to Shay and her husband, Brock Davies, all the time. When asked about Shay’s situation with Kent, Schwartz replied, “You guys, it’s no joke. Like that is a very frosty, cold, icy feud. I don’t think I don’t think it’s salvageable.”

After host Andy Cohen asked, “Do we understand? Do you know what happened there?” Schwartz admitted he didn’t know how things got so bad between the former besties, who both have 5-year-old daughters who were also best friends.

“I don’t understand how it got so contentious or so, like, heated,” Schwartz revealed. “I don’t understand the root of it really.”

Fellow guest star Luke Broderick added, “All I understand is it had something to do with their kids’ schooling, something to do with that.”

Lala Kent Didn’t Want to Talk About Scheana Shay on WWHL

Kent, who is a cast member on “The Valley” along with Schwartz and Broderick, did not want to talk about Shay when she appeared on the May 13 episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”

After Cohen fished around for information, the “Give Them Lala” author simply explained the situation with, “She’s over there. I’m over here. She’s Bravo blogging. I’m here.”

Cohen asked Kent what would happen if Shay returned to the cast of “The Valley” next season.

“If she appeared, then we could duke it out,” the mom of two said. “But she hasn’t appeared.”

Kent previously told fans on Amazon Live that she still wanted to protect her daughter Ocean’s friendship with Shay’s daughter Summer. “They’ve known each other literally since birth, and so that’s a friendship that needs to stay incubated and protected, you know, to the best of our ability,” she added.

Tom Schwartz Addressed His Broken Friendship with Jo Wenberg

On WWHL, Schwartz was also asked about his friendship with Jo Wenberg. The hairdresser appeared with Schwartz on the 11^th season of “Vanderpump Rules,” but the two agreed to take some space from one another after Wenberg confessed she had feelings for Schwartz, which he admitted he could not reciprocate.

“I haven’t talked to Jo in a long time,” Schwartz said on WWHL. “I blocked her on pretty much everything. But I gotta say, I got a soft spot for her, so I hope she’s thriving, honestly.”

After Cohen joked, “You like her so much that you blocked her,” Schwartz explained that he did still care about his former friend.

“I gotta give her a shout out,” the “Vanderpump Rules” veteran said. “I hope he’s doing really well. And I do mean that from the bottom of my heart.”
