On “The Voice,” legendary rapper Snoop Dogg has come up with many hilarious nicknames for fellow coach Michael Bublé, from “Michael Bub-lie” (for his tall tales) to “Bublé-Woobly.” But from now on, he might just want to call him the King of Christmas.
According to MarketWatch, Bublé surpassed the Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, with the shocking number of times his festive songs were streamed during the 2025 Christmas season, earning him a jaw-dropping December bonus.
Report Says Michael Bublé Earned $16 Million for Airplay During the Holidays
Based on exclusive research from CAD Management’s IQ Research & Analytics Group provided to MarketWatch, Bublé’s Christmas songs were streamed 752 million times from December 1 through Christmas Day.
All those streams earned the Canadian crooner nearly $16 million, Dark Horse SEO agency told MarketWatch. It’s no wonder Bublé was able to build a full-size ice rink in the basement of his Vancouver mansion!
What might be even more shocking is that, according to the outlet, Bublé’s Christmas songs had 9% more streams than perennial favorite Mariah Carey, whose songs had 692 million streams during the same time frame.
Michael Bublé Did a Big Holiday Push in 2025
GettyMost of Bublé’s most popular holiday tunes are from his 2011 album “Christmas,” including his covers of classics like “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” “Holly Jolly Christmas” and “White Christmas.” The album is certified six-times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for more than six million units sold, according to People.
But he has released other tunes and made major appearances during the holidays, including headlining a huge Christmas concert at the Vatican, even taking “The Voice” coach Carson Daly with him.
Bublé also released a new version of his 2024 duet, “Maybe This Christmas” with Carly Pearce, and covered the tune in 2025 with “The Voice” winner Sofronio Vasquez.
In December, when he appeared on Kylie Kelce’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, he introduced himself by saying, “I’m Michael Bublé, and I’m not gonna lie. We should start listening to Christmas music in June.”
He then joked, “It would be great for my streaming revenue.”
When Kelce asked Bublé what Christmas song is his favorite to perform, he answered, “I think ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas.’ I love ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas.’ What a beautiful, beautiful song. I think it’s one of the most well-crafted songs ever. It’s so beautiful.”

So glad you are finally getting the recognition you deserve Michael. I love all your Christmas songs and AGREE because I do start listening to Christmas songs earlier than most and watch Christmas movies all year long!
